Wanghe Bridge
Wanghe Bridge () is an overpass and a nodal point in Beijing. When it was first built it carried a railway line over the northeastern 4th Ring Road. This railway line ran from the now disused Hepingli Railway Station. Wanghe Bridge was expanded in the early 2000s to let the CityRail (Line 13 (Beijing Subway) through. The tracks of the CityRail essentially replaced those of the former railway line. A further expansion in 2002 created the bridge that is seen today. The bridge was, until September 28, 2004, the starting point of the Jingcheng Expressway to Laiguangying and ultimately Chengde in Hebei province. The expressway now commences at Taiyanggong on the 3rd Ring Road. The expressway bridges are right over the 4th Ring Road, which runs under the bridge. Wanghe Bridge comprises three layers. The 4th Ring Road () is a controlled-access expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city, with a radius of approximately from city centre. The total length of the road is . There are 147 bridges and viaducts that run the length of the Ring Road. The first section, the northern corridor, was completed in preparation for the 1990 Asian Games. The Ring Road was 'enclosed' in a full circle in June 2001, with standard controlled-access expressway throughout. Line 13 of the Beijing Subway () is a metro line that serves the northern suburbs of Beijing. On a map, Line 13's route is shaped like an inverted U that arcs north of the city and connects residential suburbs in Haidian, Changping and Chaoyang Districts with the 2nd Ring Road and Line 2 at Xizhimen and Dongzhimen. Laiguangying Area () is an area and township on the northern part of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Tiantong Yuannan, Tiantong Yuanbei Subdistricts and Beijia Town to the north, Sunhe and Cuigezhuang Townships to the east, Donghu and Datun Subdistricts to the south, Tiantong Yuannan and Aoyuncun Subdistricts to the west. Chengde
Chengde, formerly known as Jehol and Rehe, is a prefecture-level city in Hebei province, situated about 225 km northeast of Beijing. It is best known as the site of the Mountain Resort, a vast imperial garden and palace formerly used by the Qing emperors as summer residence. The permanent resident population is approximately 3,473,200 in 2017. History In 1703, Chengde was chosen by the Kangxi Emperor as the location for his summer residence. Taiyanggong Area () is an area and township on the north of Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Wangjing and Datun Subdistricts to the north, Jiangtai Township to the east, Maizidian, Zuojiazhuang and Xiangheyuan Subdistricts to the south, Heping Street and Xiaoguan Subdistrict to the west. 3rd Ring Road (Beijing)
The 3rd Ring Road () is a -long city ring road that encircles the city center of Beijing. When Beijing first became the capital of the People's Republic of China, the road existed only in segments encircling the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the city. At the time, its segments were known as Beihuan (North Ring), Donghuan (East Ring), and Nanhuan (South Ring), respectively. The 3rd Ring Road was finally finished in 1994 with the completion of the western segment. There are 52 flyovers, including Sanyuanqiao, which links it to the Airport Expressway.
