4th Ring Road
The 4th Ring Road () is a controlled-access expressway ring road in Beijing, China which runs around the city, with a radius of approximately from city centre. The total length of the road is . There are 147 bridges and viaducts that run the length of the Ring Road. The first section, the northern corridor, was completed in preparation for the 1990 Asian Games. The Ring Road was 'enclosed' in a full circle in June 2001, with standard controlled-access expressway throughout. Route The 4th Ring Road runs within the confines of the city of Beijing, more like a rectangle than a circle. Airport Expressway (Beijing)
The Airport Expressway (), officially the S12, is a controlled-access highway in Beijing, China, which links central Beijing to the Beijing Capital International Airport. It is just under 20 km in length. Opened in 1993, the expressway links Sanyuanqiao on the northeastern 3rd Ring Road to Beijing Airport. Another expressway, the 2nd Airport Expressway, was built in 2008 prior to the Beijing Olympics to serve traffic from the city to the airport. Beichen District () is a district of the municipality of Tianjin, People's Republic of China. Before June 1992, the district was named ''Beijiao District'' (), reflectings its position in the northern suburbs of Tianjin. Wanghe Bridge
Wanghe Bridge () is an overpass and a nodal point in Beijing. When it was first built it carried a railway line over the northeastern 4th Ring Road. This railway line ran from the now disused Hepingli Railway Station. Wanghe Bridge was expanded in the early 2000s to let the CityRail (Line 13 (Beijing Subway) through. The tracks of the CityRail essentially replaced those of the former railway line. A further expansion in 2002 created the bridge that is seen today. The bridge was, until September 28, 2004, the starting point of the Jingcheng Expressway to Laiguangying and ultimately Chengde in Hebei province. The expressway now commences at Taiyanggong on the 3rd Ring Road. The expressway bridges are right over the 4th Ring Road, which runs under the bridge. Wanghe Bridge comprises three layers. Yayuncun Subdistrict (), or Asian Games Village Subdistrict, is the site of the 1990 Asian Games, a major residential area and a subdistrict of the Chaoyang District of Beijing. Overview Yayuncun originally referred to a series of residential high-rises and facilities built near Auhui Bridge to accommodate athletes participating in the 1990 Asian Games. It was built simultaneously with the Olympic Sports Center, both designed by Beijing Institute of Architectural Design.
