Jakub Wójcicki (born 9 July 1988) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a right-back or forward for IV liga Masovia club Weszło Warsaw. Career On 20 July 2013, he made his Ekstraklasa debut coming on as substitute in a match against Cracovia. On 11 January 2018, Wójcicki signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Jagiellonia Białystok. On 31 July 2020, he moved to Zagłębie Lubin. On 21 October 2022, Wójcicki was registered to play in II liga for his childhood club Znicz Pruszków, where he was mainly used as a centre-forward. On 16 July 2024, Wójcicki moved to IV liga Masovia club Weszło Warsaw. Roman Wójcicki (born 8 January 1958) is a Polish former professional football manager and player. He played as a defender for clubs including Odra Opole, Śląsk Wrocław, Widzew Łódź, FC Homburg and Hannover 96. Playing career Wójcicki was born in Nysa. He played for the Poland national team, making 62 appearances and scoring two goals. He was a participant at the three consecutive World Cups, 1978 FIFA World Cup, 1982 FIFA World Cup, where Poland won the bronze medal and 1986 FIFA World Cup. He ended his career as a player-manager for TSV Havelse, before coaching various amateur and youth teams in the Hanover Region. Janina Wójcicka Hoskins
Janina Wójcicka Hoskins (February 19, 1912 – October 19, 1996) was a Polish-American librarian. She worked at the Library of Congress from 1951 to 1989 and was responsible for assembling there the largest collection of Polish material in the United States. Biography She was born Janina Wanda Ewa Kozłowska in Kupowo, the daughter of Michał and Jadwiga (née Bielska). She attended '' gimnazjum'' in Nowa Wilejka and Wołkowysk until she left home in 1929, for Białystok. She married Franciszek Wójcicki in Bielsk Podlaski in 1931, taking the name Janina Wójcicka. At the time, a married woman could not continue to be a student in high school, so she studied privately and graduated with her ''matura'' in 1933. Stanley George Wojcicki ( ; born Stanisław Jerzy Wójcicki, ; March 30, 1937 – May 31, 2023) was a Polish-American physicist and former chair of the physics department at Stanford University in California. Early life and education Wojcicki was born in Warsaw, Poland, the son of Janina Wanda Wójcicka (née Kozłowska), a bibliographer, and Franciszek Wójcicki, a lawyer. He and his brother fled from Poland to Sweden with his mother at the age of 12, when communists came to power. They eventually arrived in the United States. His father remained in Poland, and was soon imprisoned for five years for being a member of the government's main opposition party. He was never able to gain a visa to come to the United States. Katarzyna Anna Bachleda-Curuś (née Wójcicka, born 1 January 1980) is a Polish speed skater, who was born in Sanok and resides in Zakopane. Wójcicka is specialised in allround championships as she performs well on all distances, but almost never finishes among the best on a single distance. In Poland she is however one of the best skaters they ever had and she already won fifteen national titles. In 2005, she made a lot of progression and became twelfth at the European Allround Championships and fourteenth at the World Allround Championships. Patrick Wojcicki (born 14 August 1991 in Wolfsburg) is a German boxer. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the Men's welterweight, but was defeated in the first round.
