Vikebukt
Vikebukt is a village in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Along the eastern side of the mouth of the Tresfjorden, it is located just south of where the fjord meets the Romsdalsfjorden. The village has a population (2013) of 250, giving the village a population density of . Passing through the village is the European route E136 highway. Since 2014, Vikebukt has not been considered to be an urban settlement by Statistics Norway, therefore separate population statistics have not been tracked since that time. In 2015, the Tresfjord Bridge opened, crossing the fjord from Vestnes village to Vikebukt. Tresfjorden ( en, Tres Fjord) is a fjord in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long fjord branches off of the main Romsdal Fjord, and it is one of the two main fjords that cut into the municipality. The village of Vestnes sits at the mouth of the fjord (on the west side) and the village of Vikebukt sits at the mouth of the fjord (on the east side). Vestnes (sometimes called ''Helland'') is the administrative centre of Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the western shore of the Tresfjorden, near where the fjord empties into the main Romsdalsfjord. The village lies along the European route E39 highway. The villages of Vik and Tomra lie about to the southwest, the village of Tresfjord lies about to the south, and the village of Vikebukt lies directly across the Tresfjorden from Vestnes. Vike Church ( no, Vike kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Vikebukt. It is the church for the Vike parish which is part of the Indre Romsdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. Tresfjord Bridge
The Tresfjord Bridge ( no, Tresfjordbrua) is a box girder bridge in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The bridge crosses the Tresfjorden from Remmem (just south of the village of Vestnes) on the west shore to the village of Vikebukt on the east shore. The bridge carries the European route E136 highway over the fjord, re-routing it from its former path that ran all the way around the shoreline of Tresfjorden. There is a clearance below the bridge for passing boats. The bridge officially opened to traffic on 24 October 2015.
