Vít Krejčí
Vít Krejčí (; born 19 June 2000) is a Czech professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association. Early life and career Krejčí was born in Strakonice, Czech Republic and played basketball for the youth academy of Sokol Pisek. At age 14, he joined Spanish basketball club, Zaragoza. In the 2016–17 season, he began playing for Anagan Olivar, the reserve team of Zaragoza, in the Liga EBA. Professional career Basket Zaragoza (2017–2021) On 5 March 2017, at 16 years and eight months of age, Krejčí made his professional debut for Zaragoza against Fuenlabrada. He tied with Sergi García as the second-youngest debutant in club history, behind Carlos Alocén. On 17 April 2020, Krejčí declared for the 2020 NBA draft. In the 2019–20 season, Krejčí averaged 3.2 points in 9.2 minutes per game and was named to the ACB All-Young Players Team. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. FIBA U20 European Championship
The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France. Starting with the 2005 B edition, a Division B tournament, which is the secondary level of the European Under-20 Basketball Championship, is also organized. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. Administered by the Asociación de Clubs de Baloncesto (ACB), Liga ACB is contested by 18 teams, with the two lowest-placed teams Promotion and relegation, relegated to the Primera FEB and replaced by the top team in that division plus the winner of the promotion playoffs. The 2020 NBA draft was held on November 18, 2020. The draft was originally scheduled to be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 25, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was instead conducted at ESPN's facilities in Bristol, Connecticut, with the event held via videoconferencing. Carlos Alocén Arrondo (born 30 December 2000) is a Spanish professional basketball player who plays for CB Gran Canaria of the Spanish Liga ACB. He plays at the point guard position. Early life and career Alocén grew up playing basketball at the youth level for Basket Zaragoza, Zaragoza. Sergi García Calvo (born 17 February 1997) is a Spanish professional basketball player for Covirán Granada of the Liga ACB. The Basketball Champions League (BCL), also commonly known as the FIBA Champions League, is an annual professional basketball competition for European sports club, clubs, organised by FIBA. The Tercera FEB, formerly known as Liga EBA (''Liga Española de Baloncesto Aficionado''), is a Spanish basketball championship that is the fourth tier level in the Spanish basketball league system, after the Liga ACB, Primera FEB and Segunda FEB. Reserve Team
In sports, a reserve team is a team composed of players who are under contract to a club but who do not regularly play in matches for the club's primary team. Reserve teams usually include players who are part of the larger first-team squad but unable to command a place in the team itself as well as young players who need playing time to improve their skills before progressing to the first team.
