Värmland County (constituency)
Värmland County () is a county or ''län'' in west central Sweden. It borders the Swedish counties of Dalarna, Örebro and Västra Götaland, as well as the Norwegian counties of Østfold, Akershus and Innlandet to the west. The title of Duke of Värmland is claimed by His Royal Highness Prince Carl Philip. Province The county has more or less the same boundaries as Värmland Province, except that the municipalities of Karlskoga and Degerfors are part of Örebro County. Administration Värmland County was formed in 1779, when it was separated from Närke and Värmland County. The main aim of the County Administrative Board is to fulfil the goals set in national politics by the Riksdag and the Government, to coordinate the interests of the county, to promote the development of the county, to establish regional goals and safeguard the due process of law in the handling of each case. The counties of Sweden () are the first-level administrative subdivisions of Sweden. There are twenty-one counties; however, the number of counties has varied over time, due to territorial changes and to divisions or mergers of existing counties. Storfors Municipality
Storfors Municipality () is a municipality in Värmland County in west central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Storfors, which has approximately 2,500 inhabitants. The first local government unit named Storfors was created in 1950 when a market town (''köping'') by that name was detached from Kroppa. (The rest of Kroppa is since 1971 in Filipstad Municipality.) In 1967 Ullvättern was amalgamated with Storfors, making up the present municipal territory. Storfors is one of Sweden's least populated municipalities. The nearest city is Karlstad, approximately 50 kilometers to the west. Several small lakes and streams offer fishing opportunities. Örebro County
Örebro County () is a county or '' län'' in central Sweden. It borders the counties of Västra Götaland, Värmland, Dalarna, Västmanland, Södermanland and Östergötland. It is frequently culturally divided into the hilly northern region of Bergslagen, where mining and metallurgic industry have been important since the Middle Ages, and the southern Mälardalen of lakes and farms. Dalarna County () is a county or '' län'' in central Sweden (Svealand). It borders on the counties of Uppsala, Jämtland, Gävleborg, Västmanland, Örebro and Värmland.
