Václav Drobný
Václav Drobný (9 September 1980 – 28 December 2012) was a Czech footballer who notably played for Sparta Prague having spent time in their youth team as well as spells at Czech, Slovak, French and German sides. Drobný played twice for the Czech Republic and was most known in England for his short stint on loan at Aston Villa. Career Club career Drobný played for FK Jablonec nad Nisou 97 (on loan from Sparta) during the first half of the 2005–06 season, RC Strasbourg, Chmel Blšany and Sparta Prague. He also spent the 2004–05 season on loan at English team Aston Villa, in the Premier League. The move was not a success for the defender however, who left having failed to make a single first team appearance for the claret and blue. Václav Binovec
Václav Binovec (12 September 1892 – 29 February 1976, in Prague) was a Czech film director, screenwriter, and occasional actor. He was often referred to under the pseudonyms of Willy Bronx or W. Bronx, and also V. Vabin. Binovec set up the film company Wetebfilm in 1918, and began a career as a film director, launching the careers of actors such as Suzanne Marwille, Alois Sedláček and Jan W. Speerger. Václav Varaďa (; born April 26, 1976) is a Czech former professional ice hockey player and current coach. He formerly played in the National Hockey League (NHL) in a ten-year span. In his professional career, he has previously played for the Buffalo Sabres and the Ottawa Senators. Varaďa was known for his physicality in a third or fourth line role. Václav Svěrkoš (; born 1 November 1983) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was the opening scorer in the Euro 2008 tournament. Václav Pilař (; born 13 October 1988) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a winger for Hradec Králové. He represented the Czech Republic at international level between 2011 and 2015. Club career Pilař joined Plzeň on loan from Hradec Králové at the beginning of the 2011–12 Czech First League season. Václav Němeček (born 25 January 1967) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He played for Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic national teams. Václav Mašek (born 21 March 1941) is a Czech football player who played as a striker. He was a member of the Czechoslovakia national football team, for which he played 16 matches and scored 5 goals. In Czechoslovakia, he played 313 league matches and scored 127 goals for Sparta Prague. Václav Koloušek
Václav Koloušek (born 13 April 1976) is a Czech footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Mladá Boleslav, Koloušek began his Football career in the youth team of his hometown club FK Mladá Boleslav. From there he went to Dukla Prague. At the age of 21 he left for Italy and joined Salernitana Sport. After 2 years with Salernitana he moved on to Fermana Calcio. In 1999, he came back home to Sparta Prague. In 2001, he moved again to Slovan Liberec, During his time at Liberec, Koloušek contracted leukemia, badly affecting his fitness.
