Václav Němeček
Václav Němeček (born 25 January 1967) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He played for Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic national teams. As a combined total for them, Němeček played 60 matches and scored six goals. At club level, he played for Sparta Prague, Toulouse, Servette and Dalian Wanda FC. Early life Němeček was born in Hradec Králové, and grew up in a nearby village of Libčany. Club career Sparta Prague Němeček scored 28 goals in 187 appearances for Sparta Prague over two spells, initially between 1985 and 1992 in the Czechoslovak First League, later in the 1997–98 season in the Czech First League. During his first spell with the club, Sparta won the league in five successive seasons between the 1986–87 and 1990–91 seasons. During his time at Sparta Prague, Němeček played in a 3–2 loss against FC Barcelona at the 1991–92 UEFA Cup, and made 10 appearances for the club in the competition, as well as 19 appe ...

''Deník'' is a regional daily newspaper in the Czech Republic. History Originally owned by German publishing company Verlagsgruppe Passau (VGP), ''Deník'' has been owned by Penta Investments since 2015. VGP has a monopoly on the Czech regional press. Walter Fernandez
Walter Fernandez (born 20 August 1965) is a retired Swiss football defender. Career He was born in Lausanne, and made his debut in the Swiss first tier for FC Lausanne-Sport. Originally a left winger, he was repurposed as a left back by manager Umberto Barberis in Servette FC. Fernandez was also given the chance in the Swiss national team. He played when Lugano eliminated Inter Milan from the 1995–96 UEFA Cup. Joining Lugano for the second time, the team found themselves in the 1997–98 Nationalliga A, but won promotion. He lost his place in the team after the arrival of Roberto Morinini. Fernandez retired and became a player agent. Personal life His father was Spanish.
