Votorantim () is a city located at the southwest of São Paulo State in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba. The population is 123,599 (2020 est.). State Law No. 8,092 of February 28, 1964, separated the district of Votorantim from the municipality of Sorocaba, elevating it to the category of municipality. It is the largest cement producer in Brazil. Alumínio ( Portuguese meaning aluminium) is a Brazilian municipality of the state of São Paulo. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba. The population is 18,767 (2020 est.) in an area of 83.66 km2. The elevation is 790 m. Alumínio is located east of Sorocaba and is also a suburban area. The main employer in Alumínio is Companhia Brasileira de Aluminio. History The history of the city starts with the Rodovalho Railway, named after Col. Sorocaba () is a municipality in the interior of the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Ibiúna is a municipality in the state of São Paulo (state), São Paulo in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba. The population is 79,479 (2020 est.) in an area of 1058.08 km2.
