Vladimir Chirkin
Colonel General Vladimir Valentinovich Chirkin (, born 12 October 1955) is a Russian military officer and a former commander of Russian Ground Forces (26 April 2012 – 2 December 2013). Biography Chirkin studied at the Kazan Suvorov Military School from 1971 to 1974 and the Konev Higher Joint Command School in Alma Ata from 1974–1978. He entered military service in 1978. From 1978 to 1983, he served with Soviet forces in Germany. He also served in the Baltic region, the Russian Far East, and the North Caucasus, eventually as commander of the 36th Combined Arms Army (2003–2007), before becoming deputy commander of the Moscow Military District in 2007. He was Chief of Staff and First Deputy Commander of the Trans-Volga-Ural Military District from December 2008, and Commander of the Siberian Military District from January 2010. Khasavyurt
Khasavyurt is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, city in Dagestan, Russia. Population: History It was founded in 1846 and granted town status in 1931. During the Russian Empire, the settlement was the administrative capital of the Khasavyurtovsky Okrug of the Terek Oblast. In 1996, the agreement was signed in Khasavyurt between the Russian Federation and the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria following the First Chechen War, known as Khasavyurt Accord. On August 19, 2012, six police officers were killed and eight people injured at two gun and bomb attacks in the city. The town has thousands of Salafis. The academy is located in Moscow, on 14 Kholzunova Lane. It was founded in 1936 as a Soviet institution, based on higher command courses that had been established at the M. V. The M. V. Frunze Military Academy (), or in full the Military Order of Lenin and the October Revolution, Red Banner, Order of Suvorov Academy in the name of M. V. Frunze (), was a military academy of the Soviet and later the Russian Armed Forces. The Order of Lenin Moscow Military District () is a Military districts of Russia, military district of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
