Victoria Sporting Club (), commonly known as Victoria SC, is a football club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Founded in 1903, the club competes in the Dhaka Second Division Football League, Dhaka Second Division League, the fourth tier of football in Bangladesh. They were relegated from the Bangladesh Championship League and Dhaka Senior Division Football League, Dhaka Senior Division League in 2021 and 2022, respectively. History Foundation (1903–1933) Victoria Sporting Club was established in 1903 and named after Queen Victoria during the British Raj, British regime. The club was founded by five Zamindars of Bengal, zamindars from the Bengal Presidency, Province of Bengal before its partition. Dhaka Second Division Football League
The Dhaka Second Division Football League () is the fourth-tier association football, football league in Bangladesh and the second-highest league division in Dhaka. It was officially founded in 1948 as the league below the Dhaka First Division Football League, First Division Football League when Bangladesh was part of Pakistan. Until 1992, it served as the second-tier of Bangladeshi football before being replaced by the now-defunct Dhaka First Division Football League (1993–2006), Dhaka First Division Football League (1993–2006 second-tier version). In 2012, the league was further demoted to become the fourth-tier of the country's football league system. The two top-finishing teams are automatically promoted to the Dhaka Senior Division League. IFA Shield
The IFA Shield is a football competition organized by the Indian Football Association, the football governing body in the Indian state of West Bengal. The IFA came into existence in 1893, and was named after the association. The IFA Shield tournament was started in the same year. It is the third oldest football tournament in India, after Durand Cup and Trades Cup, and is among the oldest football competitions in the world. Dhaka First Division Football League
Dhaka Senior Division Football League (), or the First Division Football League, is the third tier football league in Bangladesh. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country. It was established in 1948 as part of the Dhaka League, while modern-day Bangladesh was still part of Pakistan. Until 1971, it was run in parallel with the National Football Championship in West Pakistan. The top-tier football league in Dhaka has seen numerous changes in both format and name. Sheikh Shaheb Ali
Sheikh Shaheb Ali (; 1 July 1915 – 1 June 2004) was a Bangladeshi association football, football player and coach. He is the only East Pakistani to have both played for and coached the Pakistan national football team. He was the first head coach of the Bangladesh national football team, guiding them at the 1973 Merdeka Tournament, 1973 Merdeka Cup. He holds the record of coaching Bangladesh to their first ever victory in international football. Ali was a key member of the Dhaka Mohammedan team that made its First Division League debut in 1938. Wari Club () is an association football club from Dhaka, Bangladesh. It currently competes in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL). Wari Club is the oldest football club in Bangladesh, established in 1898. The club's motto is ''One heart one mind''.
