Walleye
The walleye (''Sander vitreus'', synonym ''Stizostedion vitreum''), also called the yellow pike or yellow pickerel, is a freshwater perciform fish native to most of Canada and to the Northern United States. It is a North American close relative of the European zander, also known as the pikeperch. The walleye is sometimes called the yellow walleye to distinguish it from the blue walleye, which is a color morph that was once found in the southern Ontario and Quebec regions, but is now presumed extinct. However, recent genetic analysis of a preserved (frozen) 'blue walleye' sample suggests that the blue and yellow walleye were simply phenotypes within the same species and do not merit separate taxonomic classification. Joe Erautt
Joseph Michael Erautt (September 1, 1921 – October 6, 1976) was a Canadian-born professional baseball player. Education and career Nicknamed "Stubby", the , catcher appeared in 32 total games over parts of two seasons (1950–51) with the Chicago White Sox. Born in Vibank, Saskatchewan, and of German descent, he was the elder brother of MLB pitcher Eddie Erautt. The Erautt family moved to Portland, Oregon, before Eddie was born, hence the younger sibling was a native American citizen. Joe Erautt was an alumnus of the University of Portland. He served in the United States Army Air Forces in the Pacific Theater during World War II. His war-interrupted professional career extended for 14 total seasons (1940–42; 1946–56) and included almost 1,100 games played in minor league baseball. Burbot
The burbot (''Lota lota'') is the only gadiformes, gadiform (cod-like) freshwater fish. It is also known as bubbot, mariah, loche, cusk, freshwater cod, freshwater ling, freshwater cusk, the lawyer, coney-fish, lingcod, and eelpout. The species is closely related to the marine common ling and the cusk (fish), cusk. It is the monotypic, only member of the genus ''Lota''.
