Vendelsö IK
Vendelsö IK is a Swedish football club located in Haninge in Stockholm County. Background Vendelsö Idrottsklubb were formed on 16 March 1941. The club currently has around 2,500 members and runs football, floorball, and table tennis from the seniors to the "junior" level. The club also had an ice hockey section which merged with Haninge HF and Västerhaninge IF in May 2013 to become Haninge Anchors HC. Since their foundation, Vendelsö IK's football team has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. Haninge Municipality
Haninge Municipality () is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden. Its seat is located in Handen, a part of the Stockholm urban area. Haninge Municipality was formed in 1971 when ''Västerhaninge'' and ''Österhaninge'' were united. The municipal coat of arms depicts a capercaillie from which the name Haninge is believed to have been derived (the German word ''hahn'' means capercaillie), while the anchor symbolizes the naval base in the municipality. The Stockholms Fotbollförbund (; StFF) is one of the 24 district organisations of the Swedish Football Association. It administers lower tier football in Stockholm County. Background Stockholms Fotbollförbund is the governing body for football in Stockholm County (except some peripherical municipalities). The association was founded on 29 March 1917 when 49 teams registered with the organisation. In the last decade the number of senior clubs has been well over 500 clubs. Haninge Anchors HC
Haninge Anchors HC is a Swedish ice hockey club located in Haninge. The club will play the 2014–15 season in group East of Hockeyettan, the third tier of Swedish ice hockey. The club plays its home games in Torvalla Ishall, which has a capacity of 1000 spectators. Haninge Anchors HC was founded in May 2013 as a merger of the Haninge-based clubs Haninge HF, Vendelsö IK and Västerhaninge IF. Västerhaninge IF
Västerhaninge () is a locality situated in Haninge Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It had 15,134 inhabitants in 2010. It is connected to Stockholm by commuter rail. Västerhaninge borders the large Hanveden forest to the north, the Jordbro locality to the east, an agricultural region to the south, and the Tungelsta area to the west. The locality lies 22 km from Stockholm and 6 km from Handen. Districts of the locality include Åbylund, Norrskogen, and Jägartorp in the north, and Ribbyberg and Nedersta in the south. The Stockholm-Nynäs railway runs through the town, and the original station building was demolished to make way for a new one in 1997. The nearby Tungelsta station is the only one in the region to survive from the railway's original construction. Floorball
Floorball (also known by other names) is a sport played with five players and a goalkeeper in each team. It is played indoors with sticks and a hollow plastic ball with holes.
