Vanja Guša
Vanja Guša ( sr-cyr, Вања Гуша; born 28 July 1966) is a Serbian basketball Coach (basketball), coach. Early life Guša was born in Zadar, Socialist Republic of Croatia, SR Croatia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, SFR Yugoslavia to Serbs of Croatia, Serb parents. He started to play basketball in the youth system of his hometown team KK Zadar, Zadar. However, his family later fled to Belgrade, at the start of the Yugoslav wars. Coaching career Youth teams Guša worked as a youth system coach for teams from Belgrade, such as: KK Beovuk 72, Beovuk 72 (1993–1995; 2003–2007), KK Beobanka, Beobanka (1996–1999), KK Mega Basket, Avala Ada (2000–2003), KK FMP (1991–2011), FMP Železnik and KK Crvena zvezda (youth), Crvena zvezda. Basketball coaching is the act of directing and strategizing the behavior of a basketball team or individual basketball player. Basketball coaching typically encompasses the improvement of individual and team offensive and defensive skills, as well as overall physical conditioning. Coaches also have the responsibility to improve their team by player development, strategy, and in-game management. Coaches also teach and inspire their team to be their best. 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship
The 2014 FIBA Under-17 World Championship (Arabic: بطولة العالم لكرة السلة 2014 تحت 17 سنة ) was the 3rd edition of the FIBA Under-17 World Championship, the biennial international men's youth basketball championship contested by the U17 national teams of the member associations of FIBA. It was hosted by Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 8 to 16 August 2014. This edition of the tournament was also expanded to sixteen teams. The preliminary round took place in Al-Ahli Arena and Al-Wasl Arena, with the Hamdan Sports Complex hosting the final round. This was the first FIBA U17 World Championship that was held outside of Europe. The Basketball League of Serbia (), commonly abbreviated as KLS, is a Serbian basketball league system, top-tier men's professional basketball Sports league, league in Serbia. Founded in 2006. It is currently not run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS).
