Uroš Ćosić
Uroš Ćosić (; born 24 October 1992) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre back. Club career Uroš Ćosić was born on October 24, 1992, in Belgrade and he made his first steps in football at the youth academies of Red Star Belgrade. At the age of 17 he transferred to CSKA Moscow and then he moved back to Red Star on loan. In 2013 he moved to Pescara. During his spell at the Italian club he also had a loan transfer to Frosinone. In the season 2016–17, Ćosic was playing for Italian Serie A club Empoli. The 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the sixth season of the Serbian SuperLiga, the top football league of Serbia. The defending champions were Partizan, after having won their fourth Serbian Superliga title in a row at the conclusion of the previous season. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Serbian First League. The 2011–12 Serbian Cup season was the sixth season of the Serbian national football tournament. The competition started on 31 August 2011 and concluded with the final on May 16, 2012. The winner of the competition qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League. Preliminary round A preliminary round was held in order to reduce the number of teams competing in the next round to 32 and featured 14 teams from Serbian lower divisions. The Serbian Cup ( Serbian: Куп Србије / Kup Srbije), also known as Mozzart Serbian Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the national football cup of Serbia. The winner of the competition gets a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifying round. History Serbia's cup tournament is the legal successor to the Serbia and Montenegro Cup and in turn of the Yugoslav Cup. This cup tournament lasted for four seasons up until the dissolution of the state union of Serbia and Montenegro in 2006. The tournament was dominated by Serbian clubs with no Montenegrin sides reaching the final.
