The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned and operated by TKO Group Holdings, a majority owned subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings. The largest MMA promotion in the world, the UFC has over 578 fighters contracted that fight across 11 weight divisions (eight men's and three women's). UFC Apex (stylized as UFC APEX) is a live events and production center in Enterprise, Nevada, operated and owned by TKO Group Holdings (TKO). The venue hosts events held by TKO's two divisions, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and WWE, as well as events of the Dana White-owned Power Slap league. The facility's location was chosen in part due to its close proximity to the UFC Performance Institute, which serves as the UFC's headquarters and is located across the street. The UFC Performance Institute is the official mixed martial arts (MMA) training facility for American promotion Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), a division of TKO Group Holdings, a majority owned subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings. The building is located in Enterprise, Nevada opposite the UFC Apex, and serves as the company headquarters. History The Institute was opened in May 2017, and is the world's first mixed martial arts center for innovation, research and training.
