Turbonegro Albums
Turbonegro (Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian Rock music, rock band, active from 1989 to 1998 and from 2002 to the present. The band combines glam rock, punk rock, and hard rock into a self-described "deathpunk" musical style. History Early years (1989–1994) Turbonegro formed in Oslo during the winter of 1988–1989. The initial lineup consisted of Happy-Tom, Thomas Seltzer (a.k.a. Happy-Tom), Vegard Heskestad, Pål Bøttger Kjærnes, Rune Grønn, Pål Erik Carlin and Tor-Kristian "TK" Jenssen. Seltzer and Heskestad had formerly performed in a band called "De Dype" – a noisy and subversion, subversive ensemble inspired by American rock band Butthole Surfers. Early Turbonegro continued their conceptional styles. Turbonegro played their first show in March 1989 at Ungdomshuset in Copenhagen, Denmark. Nesodden
Nesodden is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality is Nesoddtangen. The parish of ''Næsodden'' was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The new municipality of Oppegård was separated from Nesodden on 1 July 1915. General information Name The name (Old Norse: ''Nesoddi'') is an old district name. The first element is ''nes'' which means " headland" and the last element is (the definite form of) ''odde'' which means "point". The very tip of the peninsula is called Nesoddtangen, where the last element is (the definite form of) ''tange'' which means " spit". In fact, all three elements in this name have (nearly) the same meaning, so it can be translated roughly as peninsula-peninsula-peninsula.
