Toronto Titans
Toronto Titans is one of the two new teams for the professional International Swimming League 2020 season, announced in December 2019, taking the total number of teams in the league to ten. Toronto Titans is based in Toronto, Ontario and trains out of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre in Scarborough. 2020 International Swimming League season Team roster During the spring of 2020 Toronto Titans announced various signees to their roster for the planned 2020 ISL season, including Kylie Masse, Kayla Sanchez, Michael Chadwick, Blake Pieroni and Icelander, Anton McKee. Masse, a six-time gold medalist, four-time silver medalist and four-time bronze medalist is the captain for the team, while Brent Hayden Brent Matthew Hayden (born October 21, 1983) is a Canadian competitive swimmer. International Swimming League
The International Swimming League (ISL) is an annual professional Swimming (sport), swimming league, established in 2019. It features a team-based competition format with fast-paced race sessions. In 2019, the regular season started in October and the Final Match was held in December. Athletes with a history of breaking anti-doping rules are banned from ISL. In March 2022, following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Russian invasion of Ukraine, the ISL abruptly cancelled its fourth season and all competition in 2022. History FINA-ISL dispute At the start of the 2018 in aquatic sports, 2018 season, the only major annual swimming tournament sanctioned by FINA was FINA Swimming World Cup. Andriy Andriyovych Govorov ( uk, Андрій Андрійович Говоров; born 10 April 1992) is a Ukrainian competitive swimmer who holds the world record, European champion ( 2016 London) and bronze medalist in world championship ( 2017 Budapest) in 50 meters butterfly. Personal life Govorov was born on 10 April 1992 in Sevastopol, Ukraine. A graduate of the Dnipro Higher School of Physical Culture, in 2016 he also attended the Dnipro National University. Daniil Pasynkov
Daniil Valerievich Pasynkov (born 13 October 1994) is a competitive Russian swimmer. He is a Russian record holder in the short course 200 metre individual medley. At the 2019 European Short Course Swimming Championships, he won the bronze medal in the 400 metre individual medley. He won a gold medal in the 4×200 metre freestyle relay at the 2016 World Short Course Championships, swimming on the prelims relay. However, in 2022, Artem Lobuzov had his results on the relay disqualified by FINA, and the medal was re-allocated to the team from the United States. Tayla Lovemore
Tayla Lovemore (born 20 March 1995), is a South African swimmer who specializes in women's butterfly events and freestyle relay. She competed in the women's 4 × 100 metre freestyle relay at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. Recruited to swim at Indian River State College, Lovemore received the 2016 NJCAA Women’s Swimmer of the Year award during her graduating year. In March 2022, Lovemore was named as a NJCAA Hall of Fame inductee. She continued her collegiate swimming career at Florida State University, where she was named ACC Swimmer of the Week by collegeswimming.com. Jay Lelliott (born 1 February 1995) is an English freestyle swimmer who won a bronze medal in the 400 m event at the 2014 European Aquatics Championships. Finlay Knox
Finlay Knox (born January 8, 2001) is a Canadian competitive swimmer. Career Knox was born in England, and his family moved to New Zealand when he was two years old. Knox's family emigrated to Canada when he was seven. Knox was named to his first Canadian national team at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At this event, Knox won bronze in the 200 m individual medley In 2019, Knox won two medals at the 2019 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships in Budapest. As part of the 2021 Canadian Olympic swimming trials in Toronto, Knox broke the national record in the 200 individual medley event, with a time of 1:58.07. This qualified him for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Yuri Kisil (born September 18, 1995) is a Canadian competitive swimmer who is a freestyle sprinter. A three-time medalist at the World Aquatics Championships, Kisil has represented Canada at the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics. Career 2013–2016 Kisil's selection to the World Junior Championships in Dubai was his first major junior international competition. At this event he became the Canadian 15–17 age group national record holder in the 50 m Freestyle.
