The Turnu Măgurele Municipal Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Turnu Măgurele, Romania. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Cetatea Turnu Măgurele and temporary of CSM Alexandria. The stadium holds 2,000 people. Turnu Măgurele
Turnu Măgurele () is a municipiu, city in Teleorman County, Romania, in the historical region of Muntenia. Developed nearby the site once occupied by the medieval port of Turnu fortress, Turnu, it is situated north-east of the confluence between the Olt (river), Olt River and the Danube, at the edge of the Wallachian Plain. The first documentary attestation of the town appears in a diploma issued by Sigismund, Holy Roman Emperor, Sigismund of Luxembourg, king of Hungary, on the occasion of the battles fought here in 1394. The fortress belonged to the Ottoman Empire, intermittently, between 1417 and 1829, being a Raya (country subdivision), Turkish raya. CSM Cetatea Turnu Măgurele
Clubul Sportiv Municipal Cetatea Turnu Măgurele, commonly known as Cetatea Turnu Măgurele, or simply Cetatea, is a Romanian football club based in Turnu Măgurele, Teleorman County, founded in 1962 and refounded in 2021. The team was established in 1962 under the name of ''Chimia Turnu Măgurele'' and until 1990 was financially sustained by the local chemical plant. After the Romanian Revolution, the club was in an almost constant battle for surviving, changing its name, as well as the ownership for a few times.
