AFC Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele
AFC Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele, commonly known as Turris Turnu Măgurele, or simply Turris, was a Romanian professional football club based in Turnu Măgurele, Teleorman County. The team was founded as ''Voința Saelele'' in 1965 and was originally based in Saelele, Teleorman County. The club played only at amateur level, Liga IV and Liga V, until 2017 when it won Liga IV – Teleorman County and the promotion play-off against CS Strehaia ensuring its first Liga III presence. In the summer of the same year the club was moved from Saelele to Turnu Măgurele and changed its name in ''Voința Turnu Măgurele'', then in the summer of 2018 in Turris-Oltul Turnu Măgurele. Stadionul Municipal is a multi-use stadium in Turnu Măgurele, Romania. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of CSM Cetatea Turnu Măgurele, Cetatea Turnu Măgurele. The stadium holds 2,000 people. The 2019–20 Liga II (also known as 2019–20 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 80th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 3 August 2019 and ended on 2 August 2020. A total of 20 teams contested the league. It was the fourth Liga II season with a single series. The season was initially scheduled to be played in a round-robin tournament. The first two teams would be promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed team would play a play-off match against the 12th-placed team from Liga I. The 2020–21 Liga II (also known as 2020–21 Liga II Casa Pariurilor) was the 81st season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. A total of 21 teams contested the league, instead of 20, due to the no relegation rule imposed in the previous season by the suspension of the league due to COVID-19 pandemic. It was the fifth Liga II season with a single series. In the regular season each team played every other team once, followed by a promotion play-off and a relegation play-out. The first two teams promoted to Liga I at the end of the season and the third-placed and fourth-placed team played a play-off match against the 13th-placed and 14th-placed team from Liga I. The Cupa României ( en, Romanian Cup) is a football cup competition for Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1933–34, except during World War II. It is the country's main cup competition, being open to all clubs affiliated with the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and the county football associations regardless of the league they belong to. Currently, the winner of the competition is granted a place in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers and plays the Supercupa României. Liga IV Teleorman or for sponsorship reasons the Liga IV Fortuna Sports, is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Teleorman County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system.
