Troy Gordon Corser (born 27 November 1971) is an Australian former professional motorcycle road racing, road racer. He competed in the Superbike World Championship from 1992 to 2011 except for the 1997 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, 1997 season when he competed in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. AMA Superbike Championship is an American motorcycle racing series based in the United States. The series is organized by MotoAmerica and is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) as well as the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). For most of its existence it has been considered the premier motorcycle road racing series in the United States. The championship features “highly modified, production based liter class motorcycles” competing at premier tracks across the country. Christopher Vermeulen (born 19 June 1982) is a retired Australian motorcycle racer. He competed in the Supersport World Championship and the Superbike World Championship before racing in the premier Grand Prix motorcycle racing#MotoGP class, MotoGP class between and , most prominently as a member of the Suzuki MotoGP team, winning the 2007 French motorcycle Grand Prix, 2007 French Grand Prix. The Petronas FP1 is a liquid cooled inline three-cylinder homologation special sport bike that was produced in 2003 by Petronas. Originally developed jointly by Petronas and Sauber Petronas Engineering as the Petronas GP1 989cc prototype to compete in MotoGP, Petronas decided to race the motorcycle in the Superbike World Championship instead. Davide Tardozzi (born in Ravenna, 30 January 1959) is a former Italian Superbike racer and current race team manager. After an unsuccessful attempt at competing in the 250cc Grand Prix world championships in 1984 and 1985, Tardozzi turned his attentions to superbike racing. Carl George Fogarty (born 1 July 1965), often known as Foggy, is an English former motorcycle racer and one of the most successful Superbike World Championship, World Superbike racers of all time. He also holds the third highest number of race wins at 59 behind Jonathan Rea and Álvaro Bautista. He is the son of former motorcycle racer George Fogarty. He retired in 2000. In 2011, Fogarty was named a Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.
