Trefl Gdańsk, previously known as Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Gdańsk in northern Poland. The club was founded in 2005 and promoted to PlusLiga, the top flight of Polish volleyball in 2011. Ergo Arena
Ergo Arena (Hala Gdańsk-Sopot) is a multi-purpose indoor arena that was opened in 2010. The boundary between two cities – Sopot and Gdańsk – runs through the very middle of the hall. The arena has a capacity of 11,409 people for sports events and up to 15,000, with standing places, for concerts. Mateusz Mika
Mateusz Włodzimierz Mika (born 21 January 1991) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter. He is a former member of the Poland men's national volleyball team, Poland national team, a participant in the Olympic Games 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio 2016 and the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, 2014 World Champion. Career Club In 2012 Mika joined Trefl Gdańsk, Lotos Trefl Gdańsk. In the season 2013/2014 he was playing for the France, French club – Montpellier UC. On 12 June 2014 he came back to Gdańsk and signed a contract with Lotos Trefl Gdańsk. On 19 April 2015 Lotos Trefl Gdańsk, including Mika, won the 2014–15 Polish Men's Volleyball Cup, Polish Cup. Czarni Radom
WKS Czarni Radom, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Enea Czarni Radom, is a professional men's volleyball team based in Radom in central Poland. Founded in 1921 as a football club, the club had many sections in the past, however since 1997 only the volleyball section has remained. Czarni Radom team won the Polish Men's Volleyball Cup, Polish Cup in 1999 and two PlusLiga, Polish Championship bronze medals in 1994 and 1995. 2015–16 CEV Champions League
The 2015–16 CEV Champions League was the 57th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Participating teams Format League round 28 teams have been drawn to 7 pools of 4 teams each. In each pool, the competition is organised on the basis of a double Round-robin tournament, round-robin system. Each team will thus play 6 matches: twice against each opponent. In the League Round, the placing of the teams is determined by the number of matches won. Hala Arena
Hala Arena , generally called simply Arena, is an indoor sporting arena in the Grunwald district of the city of Poznań in western Poland. It is primarily used for volleyball, other indoor sports, and concerts. The venue opened in 1974 and seats approximately 5,500 people, depending on type of event. The arena hosted a preliminary round group of the EuroBasket 2009 competition. In 1985 Hala Arena hosted the Rock Arena two day festival headlined by Hanoi Rocks and Pretty Maids. Resovia, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Asseco Resovia, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Rzeszów in southeastern Poland, founded in 1937.
