Željko Topić (born 5 August 1959) is a Croatian civil servant, and a former Vice-President of the European Patent Office (EPO). Before taking up his position at the EPO, he was the Director General of the State Intellectual Property Office (Croatia), State Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Croatia. Career He started his career as an economist with the Federal Yugoslavian Railways in Banja Luka. From 1989 to 1992 he was an adviser at the Croatian Ministry of Science & Technology in Zagreb. Milenko Topić (; born 6 March 1969) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Playing career A power forward, Topić spent most of his professional career playing in the YUBA League, representing Profikolor, BFC Beočin, Crvena zvezda, Budućnost, and Hemofarm. In the later career, he also played in Italy for Montepaschi Siena and Olimpia Milano, as well as in Greece for Rethymno, until his retirement in 2008. Jan Tomislav Topić Feraud (born 23 April 1983) is an Ecuadorian businessman, economist, and politician who ran for President of Ecuador in the 2023 Ecuadorian general election. Biography Topić is a world junior record holder with 2.37 m, which he set while winning the 1990 World Junior Championships, three weeks before his win at the senior European Championships. In the same year, Topić received the Golden Badge award for best athlete of Yugoslavia. Topić set five national records and claimed four Yugoslav national championships in the men's high jump event. At the age of 17, she won the bronze medal at the 2022 European Athletics Championships, becoming the youngest medallist of the entire championships. Adolf "Dado" Topić is a Croatian rock musician. He was the lead singer and founder of Time, a 1970s progressive rock band from the former Yugoslavia.
