Tonyboy Espinosa
Antonio "Tonyboy" Espinosa (sometimes spelled as Tony Boy) is a Filipino former basketball player and basketball coach who serving as one of the assistant coaches under Chito Victolero of the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots in the PBA. Playing career La Salle Espinosa played for De La Salle Green Archers from 1991 to 1995 under Derrick Pumaren, and later with Virgil Villavicencio, and played with future colleague Jason Webb. In the 1991 UAAP Finals, he played against FEU Tamaraws led by another future colleague Johnny Abarrientos. With the Green Archers leading, 76–71, Espinosa was called for his fifth foul on Johnny Abarrientos. But the referees failed to send the La Salle guard out of the game, letting some seconds run down before Adi Papa was sent in as his replacement. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Derrick Pumaren
Frederick "Derrick" S. Pumaren, better known by his nickname Manong Derrick, is a Filipino basketball coach who was recently the coach of the De La Salle Green Archers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Johnny Abarrientos
Johnny Abarrientos (born July 17, 1970) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association. He was also a many-time member of the Philippine National team, and was the 1996 PBA Most Valuable Player, becoming the shortest player to win the league's highest individual award. FEU Tamaraws Basketball
FEU Tamaraws are the collegiate basketball varsity team of the Far Eastern University (FEU). FEU currently holds the record of winning the most number of championships (20 championships) in the men's basketball division of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. FEU also appeared in the Philippine Collegiate Championship finals four times, and was able to win back to back championships in 2004 and 2005. The team originally played in the NCAA from 1929 to 1936 and was one of its founding members.
