Tonya Paulsson
Tonya Helene Paulsson (born 28 August 2003) is a Swedish artistic gymnast currently representing Chinese Taipei in international competition. She is the 2019 and 2020 Swedish National Champion and she represented Sweden at the 2018 Youth Olympics where she was part of the Mixed NOC team who won bronze in the mixed multi-discipline team competition. Early life Paulsson was born in Malmö in 2003. Her mother is originally from Taiwan. Paulsson began gymnastics at the age of eight in 2010, after her gymnastics coach neighbor noticed her flexibility and agility on the local playground. Gymnastics career 2016 Paulsson competed at the Unni & Haralds Trophy in Oslo where she finished fourth in the all-around but won gold on uneven bars. The following month Paulsson competed at the Nordic Championships where she was limited to only competing on the uneven bars due to a knee injury. Gymnastics at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 16 October at the Parque Olímpico de la Juventud#Olympic Park, America Pavilion in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Qualification Summary Acrobatic Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) can enter a maximum of 1 team of 2 athletes. As hosts, Argentina was given a team to compete, causing a reduction to the number of teams qualified from the Americas. The remaining 11 teams were to be decided at the 2018 Acrobatics World Championships. Host Argentina declined the quota while no nation from Oceania competed. The United States declined the quota, and thus the two places were reallocated to Asia and Europe. 2021 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 9th European Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics Individual Championships were held from 21–25 April 2021 at St. Jakobshalle in Basel, Switzerland. The 2021 European Championships were an Olympic qualifying event, with two individual spots available for both disciplines. Russia earned a non-nominative quota spot in both disciplines, while Turkey's Adem Asil and Romania's Larisa Iordache qualified nominative berths for themselves in men's and women's artistic gymnastics, respectively. The original qualifiers, the 2020 European Men's and 2020 European Women's Championships, were undesignated as such in light of the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Jonna Eva-Maj Adlerteg (born 6 June 1995) is a Swedish retired artistic gymnast and a two-time European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, European Championships silver medalist. She began gymnastics at age three with her mother being her first coach. During her junior career, she won the bronze medal on the Gymnastics at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics – Women's uneven bars, uneven bars at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. In her first year as a senior gymnast, she won three medals at the 2011 Northern European Gymnastics Championships, 2011 Northern European Championships.
