Thermae Romae
is a Japanese manga series by Mari Yamazaki. It won the third Manga Taishō and the Short Story Award at the 14th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. The manga has been licensed in North America by Yen Press. DLE adapted a flash anime aired on Fuji TV between January 12, 2012, and January 26, 2012, which also produced a live-action film adaptation released on April 28, 2012, and a second film, '' Thermae Romae II'', was released in 2014. An original net animation (ONA) series adaptation by NAZ titled '' Thermae Romae Novae'' was announced and premiered on Netflix in March 2022. A sequel manga titled ''Thermae Romae redux'' began serialization on Shueisha's ''Shōnen Jump+ is a manga platform created by Shueisha. Manga Taishō
The is a Japanese List of comics awards, comics award recognizing achievement in manga. It is awarded annually to a manga series published in the previous calendar year of eight or fewer Tankōbon, collected volumes in length. The Manga Taishō was founded with the aim of recognizing new and relatively unestablished manga, and to provide a platform to promote these works to new readers. To this end, the prize utilizes a judging criteria of recognizing manga one would "want to recommend to friends", rather than a strictly meritocratic evaluation of artistic excellence. Marcus Aemilius Lepidus (; 89 BC – late 13 or early 12 BC) was a Roman general and statesman who formed the Second Triumvirate alongside Octavian and Mark Antony during the final years of the Roman Republic. is a type of Japanese communal bathhouse where customers pay for entrance. Traditionally these bathhouses have been quite utilitarian, with a tall barrier separating the sexes within one large room, a minimum of lined-up faucets on both sides, and a single large bath for the already washed bathers to sit in among others. ONAs may also have been aired on television if they were first directly released on the Internet. The name mirrors original video animation, a term that has been used in the anime industry for straight-to-video animation since the early 1980s. A growing number of trailers and preview episodes of new anime have been released as ONA. For example, the anime movie of '' Megumi'' can be considered an ONA.
