''The Empyrean'' is the eighth solo album by American musician John Frusciante, released worldwide on January 20, 2009 through Record Collection. Frusciante did not plan on a following tour, as he instead wanted to focus on writing and recording. ''The Empyrean'' peaked at number 151 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 as well as number seven on the Top Heatseekers. On release it made number 105 on the UK Albums Chart. Frusciante said that the record "was recorded on and off between December 2006 and March 2008," and is a concept album that tells "a single story both musically and lyrically." John Anthony Frusciante ( ; born March 5, 1970) is an American musician and the guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, having been with the band across three iterations. He has released 11 solo albums and 7 EPs, ranging in style from acoustic guitar to electronic music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2012. ''Rolling Stone'' named Frusciante among the greatest guitarists of all time. ''Enclosure'' is the tenth studio album by American musician John Frusciante, released on April 8, 2014 (7 April in UK) on Record Collection. Josh Klinghoffer
Josh Adam Klinghoffer (born October 3, 1979) is an American musician best known for being the guitarist for the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers from 2009 to 2019, with whom he recorded two studio albums, '' I'm with You'' (2011) and '' The Getaway'' (2016), and the B-sides compilation '' I'm Beside You'' (2013). Klinghoffer took the place of his friend and frequent collaborator John Frusciante in 2009, after a period as the band's touring rhythm guitarist. ''Starsailor'' is the sixth studio album by Tim Buckley, released on Herb Cohen's Straight Records label in November 1970. ''Starsailor'' marks Buckley's full embrace of avant-garde and jazz-rock styles into his music. Although it alienated elements of his fanbase upon release, it also contains his best known song, " Song to the Siren", which was written much earlier than the rest of the material. "Song to the Siren" is a song written by Tim Buckley and Larry Beckett, first released by Buckley on his 1970 album ''Starsailor (album), Starsailor''. Timothy Charles Buckley III (February 14, 1947 – June 29, 1975) was an American musician. He began his career based in folk rock, but subsequently experimented with genres such as psychedelia, jazz, the avant-garde, and funk paired with his unique five-octave vocal range.
