''The Bing Crosby – Rosemary Clooney Show'' commonly referred to as just ''The Crosby – Clooney Show'' was an American old-time talk radio program. In 1960, entertainers Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney teamed together for ''The Bing Crosby – Rosemary Clooney Show'' on CBS. This was a 20-minute show aimed at female listeners and was broadcast at 11:40 a.m. daily. Crosby and Clooney would tape the dialogue weeks in advance and songs from the substantial library built up with Buddy Cole and his Trio would be interpolated. The songs would usually feature the singers singing separate solos and often a duet. Songs were repeated on many occasions. Murdo MacKenzie served as the producer. The shows commenced on February 29, 1960 and continued without a break until September 28, 1962 officially ending Crosby's 31-year association with radio. Squirt is a caffeine-free, grapefruit-flavored, carbonated soft drink, created in 1938 in Phoenix, Arizona. Squirt competes primarily against The Coca-Cola Company's Fresca. History Squirt was created by Herb Bishop in 1938. Squirt was manufactured in the Beet Sugar Factory in Glendale, Arizona until 1981. In 1941, a little boy mascot known as "Lil' Squirt" was created for marketing the product. Squirt became a popular soft drink in many parts of the country, especially the West and Southwest. In the 1950s, it became commonly used as a mixer in cocktails. In 1978, Squirt was sold to Michigan bottler Beverage America. In 1986, Squirt was acquired by A&W. In October 1993 A&W Beverages was folded into Cadbury Schweppes. Ry-Krisp is an American brand of rye crisp bread that was introduced in 1899. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Ry-Krisp plant was purchased by Ralston Purina in 1926. In 1994, the Ralston portion of Ralston Purina was spun off into a new company called Ralcorp Holdings, including the RyKrisp operations. Ralcorp was acquired by ConAgra Foods in 2013. In January 2015 ConAgra Foods announced that the factory that produces RyKrisp would be closed and the product would be discontinued due to declining demand. RyKrisp Inc. bought the brand in April 2015 with plans to revitalize it once a new manufacturing partner was found.
