The Scenic Rim Region is a local government areas of Queensland, local government area (LGA) in the West Moreton region of South East Queensland, South East Queensland, Australia, and is located approximately 80 kilometres due south of Brisbane. Established in 2008, it was preceded by several previous local government areas with histories extending back to the early 1900s and beyond. Mount Moon
Mount Moon is a lightly timbered, dome-shaped mountain in the Scenic Rim, Queensland, Australia (). Its Indigenous name is Kibbobum. The mountain rises above sea level and is part of the Teviot Range and is within the Moogerah Peaks National Park. It is within the Suburbs and localities (Australia), locality of Croftby, Queensland, Croftby in the Scenic Rim Region local government area. It lies approximately 100 km south west of Brisbane just outside the town of Boonah. The mountain was established as a national park in 1953. The peak is a rhyolite plug. The rise features a craggy landscape dominated by a prominent fracture that has been enlarged by erosion. Access to the mountain is via private property only, for which permission must be obtained. The Helliwell Hills () are a group of rocky hills and low mountains about long and wide in the Usarp Mountains of North Victoria Land, Antarctica. Location The Helliwell Hills are part of the Usarp Mountains of North Victoria Land, Antarctica. They are south of Gressitt Glacier and midway between Emlen Peaks to the west and the Morozumi Range to the east. They are south of the Daniels Range, on the other side of Gressitt Glacier, and north of the Outback Nunataks. Early exploration and name The Helliwell Hills were mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and United States Navy air photos in 1960-63. They were named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert A.
