Teitur Þórðarson
Teitur Thordarson (, born 14 January 1952) is an Icelandic football coach. He is the older brother of Ólafur Þórðarson. Playing career Club Íþróttabandalag Akraness Before coaching, Teitur playing as a striker for nearly two decades. He signed his first professional contract when he joined hometown club Íþróttabandalag Akraness in 1969. He scored 51 goals in 99 appearances, and won four championship titles with ÍA between 1969 and 1977. Sweden After a season with Swedish second division club Jönköping in 1977, Teitur helped Öster to three league championships in Sweden's top-flight Allsvenskan between 1978 and 1981. France In 1981, he moved to French club Lens where he scored 19 goals during the 1981–82 Ligue 1 season, finishing fourth in scoring. Akranes
Akranes () is a port town and municipality on the west coast of Iceland, around north of the capital Reykjavík. The area where Akranes is located was settled in the 9th century; however, it did not receive a municipal charter until 1942. History Akranes was settled in the 9th century by the brothers Þormóður and Ketill, sons of Bresi, who came from Ireland. The town started to form in the mid-17th century as a fishing village. Knattspyrnufélag Reykjavíkur (, ), commonly abbreviated to KR, is an Icelandic football club based in the Vesturbær district of the capital, Reykjavík. Gérard Houllier
Gérard Paul Francis Houllier (; 3 September 194714 December 2020) was a French professional football manager and player. Clubs he managed include Paris Saint-Germain, Lens and Liverpool, where he won the FA Cup, League Cup, FA Charity Shield, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup in 2001. He then guided Lyon to two French titles, before announcing his resignation on 25 May 2007. He became manager of Aston Villa in September 2010. Allsvenskan (; ), also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan (, ) is a professional association football league in Sweden and the highest level of the Swedish football league system. Founded in 1924, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan, the second highest league in the Swedish football, Swedish men's football league system. Ólafur Þórðarson (; born 22 August 1965) is an Icelandic former association football, footballer, who played as a midfielder. Ólafur is the former coach of Knattspyrnufélagið Víkingur, Vikingur Reykjavik. He is the brother of Teitur Thordarson, former manager of Estonia national football team, Estonia when Ólafur played against them with Iceland in 1996.
