Team Filthy
''Team Filthy'' was a professional wrestling stable that performed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Major League Wrestling (MLW) and on the independent circuit. The group was formed on October 5, 2017, during MLW's One Shot event by Tom Lawlor. History Major League Wrestling (2017–2021) Before his match with Jeff Cobb during MLW's One Shot event, Lawlor came to the ring with two unnamed figures dressed in the same tracksuit as him. These cornermen aided Lawlor in his victory and would interfere in Lawlor's other matches on his behalf. Lawlor would add Seth Petruzelli and Simon Gotch to his group, formally being named Team Filthy. The group would come into conflict with rival heel stables, Promociones Dorado, and the Stud Stable for opportunities at the World Heavyweight Championship and dominant control of the company. Stephon Strickland (born September 30, 1990) is an American professional wrestler and rapper. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under the ring name Swerve Strickland. He also appears on the independent circuit. Kayfabe
In professional wrestling, kayfabe (pronounced ) is the portrayal of staged events within the industry as "real" or "true", specifically competition, rivalries, and relationships between participants. The term has evolved to become a code word of sorts for maintaining this "reality" within the direct or indirect presence of the general public. In the United States, kayfabe is often seen as the suspension of disbelief that is used to create the non-wrestling aspects of promotions, such as feuds, angles, and gimmicks in a manner similar to other forms of fictional entertainment. In relative terms, a wrestler breaking kayfabe would be likened to an actor breaking character on-camera. William Kevin Vaughan (born April 24, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Lance Von Erich. Professional wrestling career Early career (1984–1985) Vaughan was discovered by World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) based out of Dallas, Texas in the latter months of 1984. War Chamber was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW), which took place on September 7, 2019. It aired as a special episode of MLW's television program, '' Fusion'', on September 14, 2019 on beIN Sports. It was the first event under the War Chamber chronology. Twelve matches were contested at the event, with two matches airing on television, eight matches being taped for future episodes of ''Fusion'', as well as two non-televised matches. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown (WWE brand), SmackDown brand and is the WWE United States Champion in his List of WWE United States Champions, first reign.
