Sydney FC Youth
Sydney Football Club Youth is the youth system of Sydney Football Club based in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia. The team referred to as Sydney Youth play in the Y-League (November to February) and consists of u23 players, the highest level of youth soccer in Australia. The club also competes in the National Premier Leagues NSW (March to August), the top competition of Football in NSW, however this team is known as Sydney U21, and is not to be confused with Sydney Youth which is a completely different team, involving different team selection and age group. The youth setup also features under-20s and under-18s teams that both play in the National Premier Leagues NSW in their age group. Lambert Park (Leichhardt)
Lambert Park is a purpose-built soccer stadium in Leichhardt, New South Wales, Australia. It is the home ground of the APIA Leichhardt, and the Sydney FC Youth who participate in the National Youth League. The stadium is peculiar in that it runs east to west, rather than north to south. The stadium has a nominal capacity of 7000, with 2000 seated in two main stands on either side of the playing field. In the southern of these stands there are dressing room facilities, a social club with views of the game, press facilities and media facilities. The northern stand runs the full length of the playing field, seating around 1200 spectators in 8 rows. This stand is regularly full for New South Wales Premier League encounters, with attendances at the ground in the last few seasons ranging from 800 to 3000 spectators. Matt Jurman
Matthew John Jurman ( ; ) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a centre-back and captains A-League club Newcastle Jets. Club career Youth career After graduating from Westfields Sports High School in 2007, Jurman furthered his football development at the AIS before signing for the Sydney FC youth team in 2008. Peter Triantis
Peter Triantis (born 17 January 1992) is an Australian soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Bankstown City. Club career Youth career Triantis' youth career began in 2009 at APIA Leichhardt Tigers before moving a year later to Sydney Olympic FC where he quickly forced his way into the First Grade squad. Hagi Gligor
Christopher Josif Hagi Gligor (born 8 April 1995) is a former Australian soccer player, who last played as a central midfielder for Sydney Olympic. Early life He is the son of former Romanian footballer, Tiberiu Gligor, who emigrated to Australia in the early 1990s. Gligor is also half- Filipino on his mother's side. Christopher Naumoff
Christopher Naumoff (born 29 June 1995) is a retired Australian professional football (soccer) player who played as a winger for Sutherland Sharks in the NPL and for Sydney FC in the A-League. Born in Sydney, Naumoff played youth football for Sutherland Sharks, eventually playing for the first team in the National Premier Leagues NSW before moving to Sydney FC's senior side in 2014. He made over 50 appearances for Sydney before leaving the club in 2016. Soon after, Naumoff agreed to a deal with Spanish side Numancia, but was found in medical testing to have a heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which led to the cancellation of the contract and Naumoff's subsequent retirement as a health precaution. Ian Crook
Ian Stuart Crook (born 18 January 1963) is an English football manager and former professional player. As a player, he was a midfielder who began his career with Tottenham Hotspur. before making 418 appearances for Norwich City where he notably played in the Premier League and UEFA Cup. He finished his career with spells in Japan and Australia with Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Northern Spirit. He won one cap in 1987 as an England B international. Blake Powell
Blake Powell (born 18 April 1991) is an Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a striker for APIA Leichhardt in the National Premier Leagues NSW. Joel Joseph Chianese (born 15 February 1990) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or forward. Nathan Sherlock (born 2 February 1990) is a former Australian soccer player. Dimitrios Petratos (born 10 November 1992) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Indian Super League club ATK Mohun Bagan. Stephen Christopher Corica ( born 24 March 1973) is an Australian association football manager and former player. He is the current manager of Australian club Sydney FC.
