Stanimir Belomazhev
Stanimir Belomazhev ( bg, Станимир Беломъжев) is a Bulgarian athlete in ski orienteering and cross-country skiing. While he started out as a skier, his greatest success came in ski orienteering, being there a three-times European champion and double World vice-champion. In February 2016 he won three titles at the first World Student Ski Orienteering Championships in Tula, Russia, in sprint, middle and pursuit. in March 2016 he won bronze in long distance (28.5 km) at the European Ski Orienteering Championships (Obertilliach Obertilliach is a municipality in the district of Lienz, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Ski-orienteering
Ski orienteering (SkiO) is a cross-country skiing endurance winter racing sport and one of the four orienteering disciplines recognized by the IOF. A successful ski orienteer combines high physical endurance, strength and excellent technical skiing skills with the ability to navigate and make the best route choices while skiing at a high speed. Standard orienteering maps are commonly used, but since 2019, a separate mapping standard ISSkiOM has been produced which recommends a subset of the symbols used in other disciplines. Ski-orienteering maps uses green symbols to indicate trails and tracks and different symbols to indicate their navigability in snow; other symbols indicate whether any roads are snow-covered or clear. 2017 Winter Military World Games
The 3rd CISM World Winter Games (russian: Зимние Всемирные военные игры 2017) were held in Sochi, Russia from 23 to 27 February 2017. Host selection and venues Sochi was chosen as the host city for the 3rd Winter Military Games at the 70th general assembly of the International Military Sports Council in Kuwait City, Kuwait in 2015. bTV is the first private nationwide television channel in Bulgaria. It is operated by bTV Media Group, as part of Central European Media Enterprises, and is reportedly the Bulgarian television channel with the largest viewing audience. It was previously owned by Balkan News Corporation, part of News Corporation. On February 18, 2010, News Corp announced that it had agreed to sell 94% of bTV (along with bTV Comedy and bTV Cinema) to Central European Media Enterprises, after many months of negotiations. Tula ( rus, Тула, p=ˈtulə) is the largest city and the administrative center of Tula Oblast in Russia, located south of Moscow. Competitive cross-country skiing encompasses a variety of race formats and course lengths. Rules of cross-country skiing are sanctioned by the International Ski Federation and by various national organizations. Dospat
Dospat ( bg, Доспат) is a town in the very south of Bulgaria, part of Smolyan Province, situated in the Rhodope Mountains, close to Dospat Dam. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Dospat Municipality.
