Skyharbor
Skyharbor was an Indian/American progressive metal band with members from New Delhi and Mumbai, India; and Cleveland, Ohio, US. History The band was initially guitarist Keshav Dhar's studio project, before TesseracT vocalist Daniel Tompkins contacted Dhar with an interest in collaborating with him in October 2010. Around the same time, Dhar and Maryland-based drummer Anup Sastry (Jeff Loomis, Intervals), who had uploaded several videos of himself performing Skyharbor songs to his YouTube channel, discussed the possibility of taking the material to the live stage. Roping in bassist Nikhil Rufus Raj, the band performed for the first time as an instrumental three-piece at the 2011 Bacardi NH7 Weekender festival. White Moth Black Butterfly is a British/Indian/American cross-continental progressive pop project with members from Nottinghamshire, UK, New Delhi, India, and Salt Lake City, Utah, US. NH7 Weekender is an annual, multi-city and multi-genre, music and comedy festival held in India, organised by NODWIN Gaming. Basick Records is a British record label founded in 2005 by Nathan "Barley" Phillips and his half brother Jake Smith. Their business has since expanded into the Invictus Music & Media group, which includes Basick Records itself, the hardcore punk-oriented label Destroy Everything and the PR company Hold Tight! PR. Basick Records' first release was a compilation album, entitled, "Do You Feel This?", released on 8 August 2005. The first band to be signed to Basick was Fellsilent. (born December 8, 1962) is an American guitarist, best known for his tenure as the lead guitarist of thrash metal band Megadeth from 1990 to 2000. He is also known for playing alongside Jason Becker in Cacophony from 1986 until 1989, as well as his 13 solo albums and tours. Graspop Metal Meeting is a Belgian heavy metal festival held in Dessel each year since 1996, excluding 2020 and 2021 due to covid restrictions. Progressive metal (often shortened to prog metal) is a broad fusion music genre melding heavy metal music, heavy metal and progressive rock, combining the loud "aggression" and amplified electric guitar, guitar-driven sound of the former with the more experimental, cerebral or quasi-classical compositions of the latter. The Butterfly Effect are an Australian rock band from Brisbane formed in 1999.
