Sitanshu Yashaschandra
Sitanshu Yashaschandra Mehta (born 19 August 1941), better known as Sitanshu Yashaschandra, is a Gujarati language poet, playwright, translator and academic from India. He was the President of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad. He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award given by Sahitya Akademi, India's National Academy of Letters, in 1987 for his poetry collection ''Jatayu''. Subsequently, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award by Government of India, in 2006. Life He was born on 19 August 1941 at Bhuj, Cutch State (now in Kutch, Gujarat, India). His family belonged to Petlad. His father was a Government Officer. He completed BA in Gujarati and Sanskrit from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai and later MA from University of Bombay in 1965. Sanskrit

Sardar Patel University (SPU) is a public state university in Vallabh Vidyanagar, a Anand City Gujarat, India. It is named after politician Vallabhbhai Patel and was founded in October 1955 by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then-Bombay Province and was UGC recognized under 2(f) of the UGC Act in October 1968. Ramprasad Bakshi
Ramprasad Premshankar Bakshi (27 June 1894 – 22 March 1989) was a Gujarati writer, scholar, translator and editor from India. He was a student of Anandshankar Dhruv and Narsinhrao Divetia, and was appointed the president of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad during 1976–77. Life Ramprasad Bakshi was born on 27 June 1894 in Junagadh. His family was native of Morbi. He completed his schooling from Rajkot, Wadhwan and matriculated in 1910. He graduated in 1914 from Gujarat College, Ahmedabad, with Sanskrit, and moved to Mumbai in 1915. He started his career as a teacher at Anandilal Poddar High School and retired from there from the post of its principal. He also served as the professor of Gujarati at Mithibai College, Mumbai for several years. He was the president of the 28th session (1976–1977) of the Gujarati Sahitya Parishad.
