In classical architecture, a sima is the upturned edge of a roof which acts as a gutter. The term "sima" comes from the Greek '' simos'', meaning bent upwards. Form The sima runs around all four sides of a building. It may be made of terracotta or stone. Sima is an official post from ancient China that first appears in texts dating from the Western Zhou dynasty and continued to be used during the Spring and Autumn period and Warring States period. Translated literally, it means "administrator of the horses." Sima (mead)
Sima is a Finland, Finnish fermented low-level alcoholic drink and soft drink. It is traditionally a form of mead, an alcoholic beverage produced by fermenting a solution of honey and water, although in modern times the honey is generally replaced with different kinds of sugar, mostly syrup, which makes it a sugar wine.
