Silver Antelope Award
The Silver Antelope Award is a distinguished service award presented by Scouting America for outstanding service to young people within one of the organization’s divisions. Since 2022 award has been presented for service to a Council Service Territory. Recipients must be a registered adult member of Scouting America. Scouters may be nominated and selected for their efforts in the Council Service Territory or for service to the territory through a national committee. The award is approved and issued by the National Court of Honor. Award The award consists of a silver antelope suspended from a white and orange ribbon worn around the neck. Recipients may wear the corresponding square knot, with a white strand over an orange strand, on the Scouting America uniform. History The award was created in 1942 and first issued in 1943. Scouting America

The Silver Buffalo Award is the national-level distinguished service award of Scouting America. It is presented for noteworthy and extraordinary service to youth on a national basis, either as part of, or independent of the Scouting program. The award is made by the National Court of Honor and the recipient need not be a registered member of Scouting America. Silver Beaver Award
The Silver Beaver Award is the council-level distinguished service award of Scouting America. Recipients of the award are registered adult leaders who have made an impact on the lives of youth through service given to the council. Those deemed worthy of the award by their local council must be approved by the National Court of Honor. Upon their approval, recipients are presented with a silver beaver pendant suspended from a blue and white ribbon, as well as the corresponding square knot. History The Silver Beaver was introduced in 1931 as a pin-on medal, but due to the heavy weight of the medallion it was switched over to a neck ribbon in mid-1932. Council Service Territories
Council Service Territories (CSTs) are the administrative regions of Scouting America. Previously, the term “region” was used until June 2021, when the organization moved to “National Service Territories”. The transition from four regions to sixteen National Service Territories was made as an effort to reduce staff plus save costs. At the territory level, there is minimal staff and no board or committee structure. In 2024, NSTs were renamed to Council Service Territories and several CST boundaries were updated. Additionally, two territories were merged into adjacent ones, resulting in a total of 14 Council Service Territories.
