Señorita Panamá 1992, the tenth Señorita Panamá pageant, was held at the Teatro Anayansi of Atlapa Convention Centre in Panama City, Panama Panama, officially the Republic of Panama, is a country in Latin America at the southern end of Central America, bordering South America. Miss Universe 1993 was the 42nd Miss Universe pageant, held on 21 May 1993 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, Mexico. At the event's conclusion, Dayanara Torres of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Universe by outgoing titleholder Michelle McLean of Namibia. Seventy-nine contestants competed in the pageant.
