Sebastian Repo
Sebastian Repo (born 23 June 1996) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Lukko in the Finnish Liiga. He was drafted by the Panthers, 184th overall, in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Repo first played as a youth at the Under 16 level as a 14-year old in his native Finland, with hometown club, Lahti Pelicans. In showing elite development within the Pelicans program he eventually made his Liiga debut playing with Pelicans during the 2014–15 season. He ended the season, playing the latter half in the North American junior system with the Sioux City Musketeers in the United States Hockey League, however was passed over in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Lukko
Rauman Lukko (Finnish for "lock") is a Finnish sports club based in Rauma, Finland, Rauma, Finland, best known for its men's professional ice hockey team. The club was founded as Rauma Woodin Lukko in 1936. The representative team currently plays in the Finnish Liiga, the premier men's professional ice hockey league in Finland. They play their home games in the Kivikylän Areena, Äijänsuo Arena, which has a capacity of 5,400 spectators. Henrik Haapala
Henrik Haapala (born 28 February 1994) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing for Malmö Redhawks in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). He has previously played with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career He is a skilled offensive forward whose biggest asset is his ability to change his skating direction very rapidly along with his clever passes. He is rather small for a professional hockey player which might be an issue when the play gets physical, though. Haapala first played as a 14-year old youth within the Tappara system in 2008. He played his first professional game with Tappara in the 2011–12 season. Early in the 2012–13 season he formed a great line with NHL-veteran Ville Nieminen and Aleksander Barkov as his linemates. Russia Men's National Junior Ice Hockey Team
The Russian men's national under 20 ice hockey team is the national under-20 ice hockey team in Russia. The team represented Russia at the International Ice Hockey Federation's World Junior Hockey Championship, held annually every December and January. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the International Ice Hockey Federation suspended Russia from all levels of competition. History Russia competed as an independent nation for the first time at the 1993 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships in Gävle, Sweden. 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship was the 40th Ice Hockey World Junior Championship. It was hosted in Helsinki, Finland. It began on December 26, 2015, and ended with the gold medal game on January 5, 2016. This marked the sixth time that Finland has hosted the WJC, and the hosts defeated Russia 4–3 in overtime to win their fourth title in history and second in the last three years. Belarus was relegated to Division I-A for 2017 by merit of their tenth-place finish, while Finnish right winger Jesse Puljujärvi earned MVP and top scorer honors. World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), sometimes referred to as World Juniors, is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world. It is traditionally held in late December, ending in early January (beginning from Boxing Day to January 5). The tournament usually attracts the top hockey players in this age category.
