Rauman Lukko (Finnish for "lock") is a Finnish sports club based in Rauma, Finland, Rauma, Finland, best known for its men's professional ice hockey team. The club was founded as Rauma Woodin Lukko in 1936. The representative team currently plays in the Finnish Liiga, the premier men's professional ice hockey league in Finland. Lukko Naiset
Lukko/PaRa is an ice hockey team in the Naisten Mestis. They are based in Rauma, Finland, Rauma, a port city on the southwestern coast of Finland, and play at the Eurajoen jäähalli in Eurajoki. 2013–14 Liiga Season
The 2013–14 SM-liiga season is the 39th season of the SM-liiga, the top level of ice hockey in Finland, since the league's formation in 1975. The title was won by Kärpät who defeated Tappara in the finals. This was the first season in which the league was known as "Liiga" in marketing purposes, having dropped the "SM" prefix. It was also the last season in the SM-liiga for Jokerit, which joined the Russia-based Kontinental Hockey League after the season. 2020–21 Liiga Season
The 2020–21 SM-liiga season was the 46th season of the SM-liiga, the top level of ice hockey in Finland, since the league's formation in 1975. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all the games had to be played to a very limited audience or no audience at all. Two teams have temporarily let go of their coaches due to financial reasons: JYP and SaiPa. The season was Hakametsä's last full season. Teams Regular season Top six advanced straight to the quarter-finals, while teams between 7th and 10th positions played a wild card round for the final two spots. The SM-liiga is a closed series and thus there is no relegation. Due to several games having been cancelled due to COVID-19 cases in various teams in March 2021, not all teams got an even number of games, therefore SM-liiga decided that the rankings of the regular season will be determined by points per game average. Matti Keinonen
Matti Keinonen (6 November 1941 – 27 November 2021) was a Finnish professional ice hockey player and coach. During his career he played in the SM-sarja with Lukko, Lukko Rauma, RU-38 (sports club), RU-38, Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi, HJK Helsinki, Jokerit, and HC TPS, TPS Turku. He was inducted into the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987, and into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 2002. Keinonen was nicknamed as "Mölli". He died in Uusikaupunki on 27 November 2021, at the age of 80. Sebastian Repo
Sebastian Repo (born 23 June 1996) is a Finnish professional ice hockey forward. He is currently playing with Lukko in the Finnish Liiga. He was drafted by the Panthers, 184th overall, in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Repo first played as a youth at the Under 16 level as a 14-year old in his native Finland, with hometown club, Lahti Pelicans. In showing elite development within the Pelicans program he eventually made his Liiga debut playing with Pelicans during the 2014–15 season. He ended the season, playing the latter half in the North American junior system with the Sioux City Musketeers in the United States Hockey League, however was passed over in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Liiga, colloquially called the Finnish Elite League in English or FM-ligan in Swedish, is the top professional ice hockey league in Finland. The league comprises 16 teams from all around Finland with relegation and promotion between the Mestis. The winner of the Liiga playoffs is awarded the Kanada-malja at the end of each season. Teams from the Liiga participate in the International Ice Hockey Federation, IIHF's annual Champions Hockey League (CHL), competing for the European Trophy. Participation is based on the strength of the various leagues in Europe (excluding the European/Asian Kontinental Hockey League). Teppo Rastio
Teppo Edvard Rastio (15 February 1934 – 29 May 2023) was a Finnish professional ice hockey player who played in the SM-liiga for Lukko and Ilves. Rastio was inducted to the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985. Rastio was also known as a footballer. He played two seasons in the Finnish premier division Mestaruussarja Mestaruussarja (Championship series) was the top division of Finnish football from 1930 to 1989. The Finnish Cup (''Suomen Cup'' in Finnish) is the national ice hockey cup competition in Finland. It was played from 1955-1958 and from 1964-1971.
