San Sebastián Recreation Club
The San Sebastián Recreation Club was the name of the football section of the Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián club based in San Sebastián, Basque Country, Spain. It was the first football club in the city and in 1905, they participated in the Copa del Rey. History The San Sebastián Recreation Club was founded on 28 August 1904 as part of a multi-sports club known as Real Club de Tenis de San Sebastián, which had numerous other sports such as cricket and athletics, but the most important of which being tennis, hence the entity's name. Ondarreta Stadium
Ondarreta Stadium was a Association football, football stadium in San Sebastián, Spain. It was the home ground of Real Sociedad from 1909 to 1913 when it was replaced by Atotxa Stadium. The stadium was opened in 1906, as part of the San Sebastián Recreation Club. Bonifacio Echeverria Esponda (4 October 1886 – unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Club Ciclista and Real Sociedad in the early 20th century. Early life Bonifacio Echeverria was born on 4 October 1886 in Ayacucho, Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the son of a Spanish Basque father from San Sebastián and a French Basque mother from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Lower Navarre. Club career Early career Echeverria arrived in Spain in 1903, first in Barcelona, then in San Sebastián, where he played for the San Sebastián Recreation Club, and was then one of the founders of San Sebastián FC in 1908. A few weeks later, he moved to Bordeaux to complete his studies, and while there, he played for Stade Bordelais. Domingo Arrillaga
Domingo Arrillaga Larrarta (11 February 1890 – 22 February 1951) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Real Sociedad, RCD Espanyol, FC Barcelona, and Argentino de Quilmes. In 1913, he played one match as a forward for the Argentina national team. As a manager, he coached CD Malacitano (1933–34), the Peruvian national team (1941), and Alianza Lima (1945–47). Miguel Sena
Miguel José Sena Manterola (6 November 1884 - 16 March 1969) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Real Sociedad. His brothers, Alfonso and Gregorio, also played for Real Sociedad. Club career Born in San Sebastián, he began his career with Unión Vizcaino. In 1907, the best players from Vizcaino and Athletic Club came together to form Bizcaya, which was specially created to take part in the 1907 Copa del Rey, and he Sena and his brother Alfonso were elected into the team, and both featured in the final, which ended in a 0–1 loss to Madrid CF. Narciso Masferrer Sala (26 April 1867 – 9 April 1941) was a pioneer of Catalan sports, sports journalism, and Olympism throughout Spain.
