Bonifacio Echeverria Esponda (4 October 1886 – unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Club Ciclista and Real Sociedad in the early 20th century. Early life Bonifacio Echeverria was born on 4 October 1886 in Ayacucho, Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the son of a Spanish Basque father from San Sebastián and a French Basque mother from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Lower Navarre. Club career Early career Echeverria arrived in Spain in 1903, first in Barcelona, then in San Sebastián, where he played for the San Sebastián Recreation Club, and was then one of the founders of San Sebastián FC in 1908. A few weeks later, he moved to Bordeaux to complete his studies, and while there, he played for Stade Bordelais. On 24 January 1909, he started for Bordelais in a friendly match against his former club, San Sebastián, which ended in a 5–2 loss. Alfonso Sena Manterola (5 October 1886 - 6 August 1958) was a Spanish footballer who played as a defender for Real Sociedad. He is one of the most important figures in the amateur beginnings of Real Sociedad from San Sebastián, having been the fundamental head behind the foundation of its predecessors, Club Ciclista in 1908, and of Real Sociedad itself in 1909. His brothers, Miguel and Gregorio, also played for Real Sociedad. The Pyrenees Cup (), officially Challenge International du Sud de la France, was an international football competition contested by Spanish and French clubs based in the territories of Pyrénées (Catalonia, the Basque Country, Languedoc, Midi-Pyrénées and Aquitaine). There have been five tournaments for the Pyrenees Cup which were held between 1910 and 1914 with the final of the championship being held in the region's capital, Toulouse. However, the last two finals were held in Barcelona. The competition was played for 5 years, from 1910 to 1914, before disappearing due to the first World War. Remigio Iza Urcullu (20 January 1883 – 4 May 1960) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Club. The highlight of his career was scoring the winning goal of the 1910 UECF Copa del Rey Final against Vasconia. 1910 Copa Del Rey
The Copa del Rey 1910 comprised two different competitions held the same year. Due to disagreements between the reigning champion of the tournament, Club Ciclista de San Sebastián, and some of the clubs invited, in 1910 two parallel competitions were held: an "official", organized by the newly created FECF (Federación Española de Clubs de Football), forerunner of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (), in Madrid and an "unofficial", organized by the UECF (Unión Española de Clubs de Football), in San Sebastián. José Berraondo
José Angel Berraondo Insausti (4 November 1878 – 11 April 1950) was a Spanish footballer, referee and manager. He was one of the most important figures of Spain's football at the beginning and middle of the 20th century, as a player, captain, club founder, manager, referee, director, vice-president and even as a national coach.
