Sakri River
Sakri is a census town and a taluka in the Dhule District of the Nashik Division, Nashik division, Maharashtra state, India. The town of Sakri is the administrative headquarters for Sakri Taluka. Another Sakri is in Bihar, which is now a railway junction. Sakri is a Nagar Panchayat. The people there are mostly Hindu with Jain, Muslim and Sikh minorities. The languages mostly spoken are Marathi language, Marathi, Ahirani and Bhili language, Bhili. Ahirani
Khandeshi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Khandesh region of north-west Maharashtra and also in Gujarat. It consists of Khandeshi proper, and the Dangri and Ahirani dialects. Kunbi and Rangari also are dialects. The Ahirani dialect of this language is mostly spoken. Devanagari script is used to write Khandeshi language.
