SEM9
SEM9 is a professional esports organisation based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was founded on 14 January 2020 by Kevin Wong Yew Joon, its current CEO. It has teams competing in '' PUBG Mobile'', ''Garena Free Fire'', ''League of Legends'', and ''Sim Racing''. It previously had teams competing in '' Call of Duty: Mobile'' and '' League of Legends: Wild Rift''. The organisation also operates SEM9 Senai, an esports-themed hotel located in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. ''Call of Duty: Mobile'' SEM9 finished third at the COD Mobile Championship 2021: Garena qualifier. ''League of Legends'' History SEM9 acquired Berjaya Dragons' spot in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS) on 16 November 2021. Pacific Championship Series
The Pacific Championship Series (PCS) is a professional esports league for ''League of Legends'' teams competing in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. It is a tier-two league in the ''League of Legends'' competitive ecosystem, with a path to promotion to the tier-one ''League of Legends'' Championship Pacific (LCP). Riot Games, the game's developer, created the league in 2019. Sim Racing
Sim racing is the collective term for racing games that attempt to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. To be competitive in sim racing, a driver must understand all aspects of car handling that make real-world racing so difficult, such as threshold braking, how to maintain control of a car as the tires lose traction, and how properly to enter and exit a turn without sacrificing speed.
