Rähinä Records is the biggest independent Rap music, rap label in Finland. It was founded 1998 by Elastinen, Iso H, Andu, Tasis (rapper), Tasis, and Uniikki, and started actual business in 2003. The name Rähinä Records is a brand name. The company also has a sublabel Alarm Entertainment to release artists outside the Rähinä Label. Rähinä Records expanded in 2005, and started producing videos. In charge of Rähinä Films is a young director promise Lauri Aalto. Rähinä Records Oy continues to grow and started a clothing line called "Varuste" in 2006. Rap Music
Rapping (also rhyming, flowing, spitting, emceeing, or MCing) is an artistic form of vocal delivery and emotive expression that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and ommonlystreet vernacular". It is usually performed over a backing beat or musical accompaniment. Timo Juhani Snellman (born June 2, 1982), professionally known as Timo Pieni Huijaus (''Timo The Little Hoax''), is a Finnish rapper and fashion designer. Career beginnings Timo Pieni Huijaus comes from a family with musical background. He has been inspired by hip hop music since the early 1990s, and in 1996, after getting his first computer, he started to create his own music. At first he was touring with bands like Fintelligens and Kapasiteettiyksikkö, using a pseudonym Ii. In addition to his musical career, he has also worked as a fashion designer and graphic designer. Samuli Huhtala, professionally known as Spekti and previously as Aspekti and Uncle Damn, is a Finnish rapper. Career Spekti started his career in the band Trilogia in 1999. Kapasiteettiyksikkö ( Finnish for "capacity unit") was a Finnish hip hop group from Helsinki. The group was formed in 1997 by Anders "Andu" Westerholm, Markku "Tasis" Wettenranta and Dan "Uniikki" Tolppanen. Aleksi Juhani Sariola (born 22 March 1980), professionally sometimes also known as Illi, is a Finnish actor, singer, television presenter and director. Acting career Sariola first became known as an actor when he played the character Ken Ojala in the Finnish television series '' Salatut elämät'' 2000–2004. He has appeared in such films as ''Pian on aamu'' (2005) and ''Tali-Ihantala 1944'' (2007). Fintelligens is a hip hop group from Helsinki, Finland. The band is formed of two MCs: Elastinen and Iso H. The band has released three albums and one compilation, all selling more than 150,000 copies. Career In the early 1990s the Finnish hip hop scene was dominated by more humorous acts, such as Raptori. For many years afterwards, Finnish hip hop was strongly seen as some kind of joke. When Fintelligens released their debut album ''Renesanssi'' in 2000, it was the first more serious mainstream record to emerge. ''Renesanssi'' was a success and went gold with hit singles ''Voittamaton'', ''Kellareiden Kasvatit'' and a collaboration with Swedish MC's Petter and Peewee called ''Stockholm-Helsinki''. Kari Olavi "Kapa" Härkönen (born 9 April 1979), better known by his stage name Brädi, is a Finnish rapper. Brädi (pronounced "Braddy") has sung in Finnish and in English (the latter mostly under the name Brad Spitt), in bands and solo.
