Romércio Pereira da Conceição (born 25 February 1997), simply known as Romércio, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a central defender, for Inter de Limeira. Career Romércio came through the youth ranks at Coritiba. He made senior debut for the club on 11 December 2016, the last game of the 2016 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A against Ponte Preta, when Coritiba had already released a number of first team players. On 25 January 2022, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Romércio from Remo. On 19 January 2023, Ararat-Armenia announced that Romércio had left the club after his contract had expired. The Copa do Brasil () is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District. It is the Brazilian domestic cup and it is the Brazilian equivalent of the FA Cup, Taça de Portugal, Copa del Rey, Scottish Cup and Copa Argentina, even though it has much more prestige and is considered almost as important as the Brazilian League, as the prize money is higher than the ''Brasileirão'''s. The 2024 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A (officially the Brasileirão Betano 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was the 68th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 21st edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The 2023 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B (officially the Brasileirão Série B Betano 2023 for sponsorship reasons) was a football competition held in Brazil, equivalent to the second division. The competition began on 14 April and ended on 25 November. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, commonly known as the Série C or the Brazilian Série C to distinguish it from the Italian Serie C, is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Beginning in 2009, the Série C was reduced from 64 teams to 20 and the new Campeonato Brasileiro Série D is the qualifier for Brazilian league football.
