The 2021–22 season was FC Ararat-Armenia's 4th season in Armenian Premier League, in which they finished runners-up to Pyunik by one point and where knocked out of the Armenian Cup by eventual winners Noravank. Season events On 24 June, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Valerio Vimercati from Noah. The following day, 25 June, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Wilfried Eza from Van. On 6 July, Ararat-Armenia announced the return of Mailson Lima from Dibba Al-Hisn, with Alwyn Tera joining from Saburtalo on 9 July. On 4 August, Ararat-Armenia announced the signing of Karen Muradyan on a free transfer after his contract with Ararat Yerevan had expired. FC Ararat-Armenia
FC Ararat-Armenia () is an Armenian professional football club based in Yerevan, founded in 2017. History It was founded in 2017 as FC Avan Academy by Ruben Hayrapetyan, on the basis of the young players of the Yerevan Football Academy graduates, as well as many young players from FC Pyunik. They club's inaugural match took place in July 2017 against Erebuni SC. The friendly match ended up with a score of 3–1 in favour of Avan Academy. In early 2018, the club was taken over by the Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan who renamed the football club as Ararat-Moskva, from Mount Ararat. The club was reorganized as soon as FC Ararat Moscow in Russia was denied certificate for the next season. Artak Oseyan managed the club during the 2017–18 Armenian First League season. FC Saburtalo Tbilisi
FC Iberia 1999, formerly known as FC Saburtalo, is a Georgian football club, based in the Saburtalo District of Tbilisi, the capital of the country. Тhey have been the most decorated Georgian team since 2017 when the Erovnuli Liga was launched. History Saburtalo was founded on 20 August 1999, in Tbilisi. In 2005, the club was bought by Iberia Business Group and its owner Tariel Khechikashvili, who later became the Minister of Sport & Youth Affairs of Georgia. FC Shakhter Karagandy
Football Club Shakhter (), commonly referred to as FC Shakhter Karagandy ( ), is a professional football club based in Karagandy, Kazakhstan. They have been members of the Kazakhstan Premier League since its foundation in 1992, but fell of to the first division league in 2024. They have won the championship 3 times. Solomon Udo
Solomon Ime Udo (; born 15 July 1995) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Pyunik. Born in Nigeria, he plays for the Armenia national team. Club career On 13 June 2018, Udo signed for Banants. On 10 September 2020, Ararat Yerevan announced the signing of Udo. On 22 February 2021, Ararat Yerevan announced that Udo had moved to Kazakhstan Premier League club Shakhter Karagandy.
