Masayo Ōsawa
was a Japanese diving (sport), diver. She competed at the 1936 Summer Olympics and finished sixth in the Diving at the 1936 Summer Olympics – Women's 3 metre springboard, 3 m springboard and 14th in the Diving at the 1936 Summer Olympics – Women's 10 metre platform, 10 m platform competition. Her sister Reiko Ōsawa also competed at the 1936 Summer Olympics. During World War II Ōsawa served in the Japanese Army as a nurse and died of an illness six months after the end of military operations in Northern China. The 1936 Summer Olympics (), officially the Games of the XI Olympiad () and officially branded as Berlin 1936, were an international multi-sport event held from 1 to 16 August 1936 in Berlin, then capital of Nazi Germany. Berlin won the bid to host the Games over Barcelona on the 29th IOC Session on 26 April 1931.
