Reformatory Political Federation
The Reformatory Political Federation (; RPF) was a minor Protestant Christian democracy, Christian political party in the Netherlands. History The RPF was founded on 15 March 1975 by three groups of orthodox Christians. The first group were members of the Protestant Anti-Revolutionary Party, secondly the National Evangelical Union, a small party which had earlier left the ARP, and several independent electoral committees. The founders opposed the formation of the Christian Democratic Appeal, because the Protestant ARP and Christian Historical Union would join the Catholic People's Party. During the period of pillarisation, the Catholics and Protestants had lived in a form of cold war. The RPF sought to unite all other orthodox Protestant Christian parties, namely the Reformed Political League (GPV) and the Reformed Political Party (SGP). Christian Historical Union
The Christian Historical Union (, CHU) was a Protestant Christian democratic political party in the Netherlands. The CHU is one of the predecessors of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), into which it merged in September 1980. History 1879–1908: Predecessor parties An important inspiration for the CHU was Guillaume Groen van Prinsterer (1801–1876), who coined the terms "anti-revolutionary" and "Christian-historical". In 1879, the Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) was founded as a Protestant mass party by Abraham Kuyper. Unlike previous anti-revolutionary politicians such as Groen van Prinsterer, Kuyper was convinced God's will could be translated to politics. Gay Krant
''Gay Krant'' was a Dutch magazine written for the gay community, published every month since 1980. It was published by the Best Publishing Group under leadership of Henk Krol. The magazine has its headquarters in Amsterdam. After a bankruptcy in 2013, the magazine was taken over by the companies behind the other gay media Winq, Gay.nl and OUTTV. The Gay Krant then first appeared as a combined edition with homoglossy Winq under the name Winq , Gaykrant, but eventually the indication Gaykrant disappeared and nowadays the magazine is simply called Winq. Since August 2017, Gaykrant has been re-launched (online only) and is part of the Gaykrant Foundation. The Senate ( , literally "First Chamber of the States General", or simply ; sometimes ) is the upper house of the States General of the Netherlands, States General, the legislature of the Netherlands.
