Real life is a phrase used originally in literature to distinguish between the real world and fictional, virtual or idealized worlds, and in acting to distinguish between actors and the Character (arts), characters they portray. It has become a popular term on the Internet to describe events, people, activities, and interactions occurring offline; or otherwise not primarily through the medium of the Internet. It is also used as a metaphor to distinguish life in a vocational setting as opposed to an academic one, or adulthood and the adult world as opposed to childhood or adolescence. ''Real Life'' is the debut album released by West German synthpop/pop group Crown of Creation on February 21, 1994, by ''ContraPunkt'', Bückeburg. It was Rick J. Jordan's last production before founding Scooter together with H.P. Baxxter. As the recordings began, the band was already eight years old. Singer Nicole Sukar had just joined the band on September 2, 1992. The recordings started on May 27, 1993. Frank Suchland took the CD into his publishing program. It was published on the label ''ContraPunkt'' on February 21, 1994. The CD cover was designed by the artist Ingo A. Müller from Bremen who processed impressions of his trip to America. In October 1994, Crown of Creation presented the CD in their first tour in France to the general public. ''Real Live'' is a live album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on November 29, 1984, by Columbia Records. Recorded during the artist's 1984 European Tour, most of the album was recorded at Wembley Stadium on 7 July, but "License to Kill" and " Tombstone Blues" come from St James' Park, Newcastle on 5 July, and " I and I" and " Girl from the North Country" were recorded at Slane Castle, Ireland on 8 July. Background Produced by Glyn Johns, it features Mick Taylor (formerly of the Rolling Stones) on lead guitar, Ian McLagan (formerly of the Faces) on keyboards, and a guest appearance from Carlos Santana. The performances on ''Real Live'' were recorded in support of his successful '' Infidels'' album. Jaki Graham
Jacqueline Graham (born 15 September 1956) is a British singer-songwriter. Following her hit version of " Could It Be I'm Falling in Love" with David Grant in 1985, Graham scored a further five UK top 20 hits over a two-year period. In 1994, her cover version of Chaka Khan's hit " Ain't Nobody" reached number one on the US ''Billboard'' Dance Club Songs. Biography EMI years Graham was born in Birmingham to Jamaican parents. In 1983 after recording a session for a jazz funk band called Medium Wave Band, Graham was spotted by a talent scout and signed to EMI Records. Two solo singles were released in the following year, "Heaven Knows" (the title of her first album) and "Once More with the Feeling". ''Real Life'' is the ninth studio album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds, released in April 1991 by record label Virgin Records worldwide apart from the US, where it was released by A&M. Background and recording This was the first album without founding member keyboardist Mick MacNeil as he left the band to spend time with his family. Peter-John Vettese played keyboards on the album. The rest of the band included lead singer Jim Kerr, guitarist Charlie Burchill who also took up keyboards, and drummer Mel Gaynor. Bass was played by Malcolm Foster. ''Real Life'' is the debut studio album by Joan As Police Woman (Joan Wasser), released by Reveal Records in the United Kingdom on June 12, 2006, and a year later in the United States. In addition to the standard jewel-case release, it was released in a limited-edition digipak with Wasser art card and as a 2-disc expanded edition. "I Defy" was co-written by the Antony and the Johnsons' singer Antony Hegarty, who also contributed vocals to the track. In September 2006, she performed a live-session at the BBC. The album has received much critical acclaim, being variously described as "splendidly slinky", "a magical journey", and "a fine showcase".
